All recruitment and selection practices comply with relevant legislative requirements. 
Appointments are competency-based. We use updated job criteria and specifications provided by the client as the basis for question formulation. Tests and assessments are consistently and objectively used in conjunction with other measures of screening. Some of the qualities we seek in our Associates are:
  • Employee profiles are determined by the applicable job descriptions and unit-specific requirements.
  • Associates must be fluent and well versed in English and must have a good understanding of basic mathematics.
  • Associates must be from the local community for practical and social development reasons.
  • Associates must be well-groomed, friendly, polite and courteous when dealing with guests.
  • Associates must be passionate about service.
  • Criminal and reference checks are conducted where necessary and justifiable with due regard to the rights of privacy and confidentiality of the candidate and the referee. 
 
Our policy and procedure prior to employment includes:
  • Standard interviews
  • Skills Matrix Test in order to evaluate training needs.
  • Criminal checks ( by means of fingerprint testing)
  • Reference checks
  • Second interview with the Client
  • Evaluation and consultation with security to ensure associates do not have previous records
  • Senior Management is actively involved in the recruitment process by interviewing applicants, checking the application documents up to 3 times during recruitment process before employment and meeting each and every new employee.
